Our Family Disney Trip
It started with a magic beginning. C JUST recovered from a 3 day fever/flu, and our flight JUST left town as a massive snow storm rolled in. This was the boys (and my!) first Disney trip. We didn’t know what was in store for us, but seeing the Epcot fireworks right outside our resort room door when we got to the room late Wednesday night was a good indication we were in for a special trip. Disney just…doesn’t let ya down, I’ll tell you. I loved the immersive-ness of it all. Our resort in full Caribbean theme with bright colors, thick shutters, tropical plants and a Caribbean ruin pirate ship themed pool. Pockets of parks that felt like the heart of Taiwan, the African jungle, an old school circus, a restaurant that made it seem like we were dining in space, and such a realistic Italy that 5-yr-old A required multiple dances with me saying “mama, let’s marry”.
