Short but Sweet Race Recap + Easy Peasy Comfort Food

Today a hobbily wobbily, 75 (at least) year old man schooled me in a 5k race. Mind you, this was also my third attempt at getting to said 5k (wrong place, wrong date, I'm dumb). For these reasons alone, I could use a little comfort meal. Spring is approaching too, so there's only so many chilly days left for this dinner to make sense. I haven't made it yet, but I've had it clipped from Rachel Ray mag in my recipe binder for awhile now. If you give it a whirl, lemme know how it goes! Italian Garbage: Ravioli Lasagna

Bruder on Break

(Brother in German is Bruder) I might be too old for spring break and college fun, but my bruder E isn't! He flew out to spend a few days out east with me. Jumping for joy outside Ben Franklin's house. ( click to enlarge)

Not that the distance is anything incredibly impressive considering my normal workout routine, but it's something fun to look forward to, another t-shirt to collect and a new group of runners to mesh with. I've been cooking like mad lately too. Helps that I have someone  hungry to feed! :) In conversation about college-aged men and their ability (or lack thereof) to whip up a non-boxed dinner, I decided to compile my go-to mid-week meals into a man cookbook. However, I was unable to begin the project on my snowy sabba...
