Westward Exploring
We're back from a week out west, visiting family and exploring lots of the Pacific Northwest.
We biked, kayaked, walked, hiked and tramed through Portland; took a road trip and ferry ride to see totem poles, beautiful gardens and wharfs in Victoria, British Columbia; we hiked mountains, walked through rainforests, visited quaint lakefront lodges and saw bald eagles in Olympic National Park; we played around sea-stacks on Pacific Ocean beaches; and hiked through the Oregon dessert at the Columbia River Gorge.
It was a very busy, and very beautiful trip. While I recover on my couch and throughly enjoy my first few hours of not moving, here are some of my favorite pics from the week.
